It focuses on fostering inclusive sports education for young people with disabilities, equipping teachers and coaches with tools to implement inclusive practices, and raising awareness.
Long-Term Goals:
- Advance the culture of integration in sports and education at local and European levels.
- Create synergy between disabilities, sports, and European communities by engaging stakeholders from institutional, social, Olympic, and Paralympic domains.
- Enhance active participation and skill development for disabled and non-disabled individuals alike, fostering respect, empathy, and inclusion.
The Italian SportWay Event aligns with EU objectives of social inclusion, anti-discrimination, and encouraging physical activity, with a long-term goal of achieving broader societal change through sports and arts.
The official poster for the event will be ready soon.
