SportWay project

SportWay project unites organizations from Slovenia, Austria, and Italy to host inclusive sports events in each country. These events welcome participants of all backgrounds and abilities, including those with special needs, school drop-outs, the elderly, and individuals from diverse cultures. Key aims are to raise awareness about sports voluntarism and to engage volunteers from disadvantaged groups. The project will develop guidelines for organizing inclusive sports events and establish a fair play checklist. Local sports clubs will play a crucial role in fostering inclusivity, with a long-term goal of making inclusive sports a staple of the European Week of Sport across the EU.
